Manager Marketing Molecular Diagnostics (m/f)
(unlimited as of now)
With the objective of bringing the company ´s products onto research and diagnostic markets, you are responsible for developing and maintaining a suitable marketing strategy. Based on the analysis of market and customer needs, market conditions, competitor data you develop and implement marketing plan and take the lead in the drafting of marketing material and the development of effective campaigns. You take the full responsibility to initiate and oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional activities. In this position you report to the Senior Vice President Corporate Development.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has
- a minimum of 4-6 years marketing and sales experience in the (molecular) diagnostic industry
- solid experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
- strong understanding of customers in diagnostics industry
- a fundamental understanding of (molecular) diagnostic markets
- an understanding of the European regulatory framework for diagnostics as a plus
- a scientific background
- creativity and a dynamic hands-on attitude and very good analytical skills
- fluency in English, further European languages as a plus
- the willingness to travel
Your Responsibilities
- Development of a marketing plan in conjunction with Business Development and Product Development Departments, which entails all activities to meet the company´ s objectives to bring its first research and diagnostic products onto the market
- Specification of market requirements for Epigenomics´ products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to (potential) customers
- Management of the entire product line life cycle of Epigenomics´ research and diagnostic products from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Development of a pricing strategy
