Initial Public Offering of Epigenomics AG: End of Stabilization Period

Berlin, Germany, August 23, 2004 - Epigenomics AG (Frankfurt, Prime Standard: ECX), a molecular diagnostics company developing tests based on DNA methylation, announced today that the stabilization period with regard to its intial public offering ended on august 18. Morgan Stanley, acted as stabilization manager. The stabilization period began on the first day of trading on July 19, 2004 and ended on August 18, 2004. Stabilization measures where carried out in the price range of € 7,58 to €9,00. The last day of trading during which stabilization activities were conducted was July 28, 2004.
