Epigenomics AG (FSE:ECX) was awarded the PolyPops Development Foundation award for the best oral presentation at MipTec 2006 that took place in Basel May 08-11. Tamas Rujan, Project Manager at Epigenomics' Clinical Solutions Business Unit, received the award for his presentation on "Rapid Identification of Differentially Methylated Regions throughout the Human Genome". 

The 9th MipTec (International Conference and Exhibition on Drug Discovery), which is the leading European event for drug discovery technology, brought together researchers from a wide variety of scientific disciplines in Basel from 8 to 11 May 2006.

The PolyPops Development Foundation sponsored the award for the best presentation at MipTec 2006. The selection was made by the Program Committee. PolyPops is an independent nonprofit foundation.
